As a child I was aware of psychic and spiritual experiences I encountered although at the time I did not understand them. I also came from one of the more traditional religious backgrounds where this type of awareness was not encouraged.
Through the passing years from childhood to early adulthood, several traumatic events overtook my life, spiralling it into turmoil. This eventually led me to begin a soul-searching journey involving deep exploration of who I was as a person, my own experiences and development of a deeply personal and spiritual understanding of the holistic me.
In 1996 I had my first experience of a Spiritualist Church and it was at this time that I became very aware of hearing and seeing spirit and psychic phenomena. I have to say that it was not exactly welcomed with open arms at first but I soon decided that my scepticism needed further exploration so I attended numerous talks, workshops and groups. It took me two years to be convinced I was headed in the right direction for me!
I had many encounters with the spiritual realms but then one day I plucked up the courage to pass on the details of what I was seeing/sensing and was shocked to discover that the information I gave my recipient was 100% accurate! As time went on, everyday more and more psychic and mediumistic messages were coming through, even as I was travelling on the London underground on my way to work. I decided that the next step was to develop this ‘ability’ properly, so I began to sit in development circles and attended training courses.
In 2001 I attended the first of many courses at the world-renowned Arthur Findlay College (Psychic Studies College in Stansted, UK). Later that same year I started giving one to on sittings and messages from the platforms of a couple of London Spiritualist Churches. My work then gradually began to intensify and I was then asked to help lead circles and workshops.
I moved with my family to Limassol, Cyprus in January 2004 and was, by this time establishing myself as a ‘working’ medium, psychic and spiritual healer. My work continued in Cyprus on a massive scale; I ran circles, teaching groups and workshops as well as demonstrations of mediumship and working at several Mind Body Spirit exhibitions in Limassol and Nicosia. I was invited to do several workshops and demonstrations in Spain also during this time. It was whilst at one of these exhibitions that I met some other mediums and we joined together as a group to ‘pioneer’ genuine spiritual mediumship and healing groups throughout Cyprus. This work continued for two years until I returned to the UK for family reasons in 2006.
On return to the UK, my family and I moved to Salisbury, Wiltshire and, as with all my spiritual / mediumistic experiences, the opportunities to further nurture and grow my mediumship, opened up once again! Before long, I was running my own closed circles and workshops, and I was soon asked to run the open circle at a Spiritualist Church in Wilton, Wiltshire. I also started serving other local churches, doing demonstrations of mediumship. Unfortunately, due to a period of serious illness, I was unable to continue with my service to the Spirit World for almost six months and this was a very difficult time for me!
One of the happiest days of life, 26th September 2009, was the day when two of my greatest dreams came true! I married my now husband, Stephen, with all our family and friends present, at the beautiful Arthur Findlay College Sanctuary. If that wasn't enough, my dream wedding was made all the more special because we were married by one of the most wonderful Spiritualist Ministers / Mediums and my dearest teacher, Janet Parker, who made this amazing day more meaningful than words can say!
Since that day, the nurturing and growth of my mediumship / spiritual pathway has continued to grow stronger and stronger. I have been invited to do more and more events, both teaching and demonstrating and have again had a large increase in requests for private sittings. I can truly say that I love the work I do for Spirit and am excited about every single day and experience I have!
Please do not think that this has been an easy path to follow because it has most definitely NOT been! There have been many times when I have wanted to give up on this pathway and I have been battling with chronic ill health for some years now. I do, however, know that this is where I am meant to be and that because of all of my personal, painful experiences, I am exactly where I am supposed to be and I can honestly say I have very few regrets! The Spirit World have always been there for me with strength and encouragement all the way, and for that I am extremely grateful.
So I end my personal summary by saying to you, from the heart, I will continue my service to Spirit for the rest of my time on this earth and beyond, for as long as I am needed. Although I love to share communication between the two worlds via mediumship connections, my major passion has become more about sharing knowledge and teaching all things related to growth and development. It was the sharing of knowledge and the giving of encouragement to all that inspired me to create this site for all to enjoy. I will continue to the best of my ability, to carry on sharing my knowledge of all things spiritual to anyone who is interested............................
Finally, this is an exciting time for me because I am hoping to enrol in the SNU Education Programme to do Platform Accreditation, CSNU (teaching) and Tutor Training Course for the Arthur Findlay College (all starting towards the end of 2013). As I already have the PTLLS Level 4 qualification for teaching adults and NVQ 3 Information, Advice and Guidance, I have a really good grounding for this!
I am also currently in my second year of a BA(Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling Studies so that within the next 18 months I can qualify as a Spiritual Counselling Therapist / Practitioner, including transpersonal and existential approaches, offering specialist, yet accessible and affordable counselling services. As well as all of this, I am writing a book as I aim to share my life and spiritual experiences, whilst spreading hope and compassion to anyone who feels alone or in need.
